Some examples of drugs that cause dilation of the pupils are – Cannabis Oxycontin (Oxycodone by itself), Percocet (Oxycodone and Acetamenophin).

These letters are not natural stopping points in the song, so it makes it tougher. The Alphabet Test – requiring the driver to recite the alphabet from pre-determined starting and stopping points. Whatever letters you choose, use those every time you administer the test – you just made your test “standardized”. And have them go forward not backwards – unless you want to look like an idiot in court when you can’t do a demonstration as a sober, officer. I usually went from F to R.

Signs of Drug Abuse

Dilated and constricted pupils are signs and symptoms of stimulant and opiate Drug addiction can affect anyone, and its onset can be gradual or immediate.

For parents, spouses, siblings, friends, and children who know what an individulal usually looks like at sober times, examining the pupil's size and factoring other symptoms like abnormal energy, attention, and high body temperature are very conclusive signs for stimulant use. This characteristic can be noticed for the duration of the high, no matter the lighting: So if a person is in daylight, and his pupils appear to be dilated, this is a good indicator of stimulant use, especially when the above symptoms are also present The picture to the left is an example of a dilated pupil, where the eye color is difficult to see around the size of the pupil.

Here's What Your Eyes Look Like When You Take Different Drugs

H ow much does the size of your pupils actually have to do with the in your brain, but can also affect physiological processes in your body.

Eyes are the window to your soul, and that doesn't stop being true no matter how many illegal substances you consume on a night out. But can your eyes really l when you're actually on something? From pupils the size of a needlepoint to huge black holes with barely visible irises, we snapped our way through Berlin's nightclubs to see if people's eyeballs could l us the night's story. H ow much does the size of your pupils actually have to do with the substances you've taken?

Fun fact: Movie-goers with an affinity for drugs rained criticism down on Darren Aronofsky after seeing Requiem for a Dream, in which he uses stylistic closeups of his heroin-addicted protagonists' pupils growing, instead of realistically having them constrict.

Yet a normal reacting pupil doesn't automatically mean the subsequent blood test will come back negative.

Been there done that and i would never bash down on anyone self-medicating. Just remember that things can get better with meds and when you do and you get off the opiates its very hard to recognize yourself and it can be a hit in the face. Also i didn't have lots of memories that i could recognize myself with from the periods of opiates. Its like three years of haze that has gone by. But if the option is full blown DP/DR for a long time then i understand anyone doing opiates, at least until you get an option that can make your better (like future meds). Senior Member.

Of course, but I think opiates are hard drug to work around, the addiction is (from what I can gather from knowing addicts) a lot worse than what we are suffering (give or take some people) I wouldn't bash anyone down for self medicating, that would make me hypocritical, but I do not codone it, especially opiates.
