I have heard that there are major problems with shortages of hydrocodone pain management medications in the Texas Gulf Coast including Houston. When a pharmacy such as CVS or Walgreens if found to have it in stock, even though a patient has a valid prescription they are most often treated as a drug addict and can be denied the medication if they do not meet the pharmacies “criteria”.
